We’re Inviting you to a Prayer Party!!!To kick off the release of our latest book baby, Gangster Prayer, we’re inviting all of you to join us in a prayer party. We want God to use this book for His glory, and what better way to do that then to talk to him.

Have you Pre-Ordered?

Pre-Order Now!

Do you think you should have been “there” by now?

I hear from you all so much “I should be there by now, and I don’t understand why God hasn’t elevated me, and now I’m going to settle for ordinary.”

Sarah Laughed!

Gen 18: 9-15

They said to him, “Where is Sarah your wife?” And he said, “She is in the tent.” 10 The Lord said, “I will surely return to you about this time next year, and Sarah your wife shall have a son.” And Sarah was listening at the tent door behind him. 11 Now Abraham and Sarah were old, advanced in years. The way of women had ceased to be with Sarah. 12 So Sarah laughed to herself, saying, “After I am worn out, and my lord is old, shall I have pleasure?” 13 The Lord said to Abraham, “Why did Sarah laugh and say, ‘Shall I indeed bear a child, now that I am old?’ 14 Is anything too hard[a] for the Lord? At the appointed time I will return to you, about this time next year, and Sarah shall have a son.” 15 But Sarah denied it,[b] saying, “I did not laugh,” for she was afraid. He said, “No, but you did laugh.”

Sarah was old, past child barring years. She thought her time had passed. Is anything too difficult for the Lord? This is one thing I know about my Jesus; we can be past our normal child barring years or the normal time period for something to happen, but when it comes to my God, I know the holy spirt indwelled Mary and she gave birth to the Christ child.

You can’t forget about the promise God gave you. If God said it, you expect it. You are not too far gone. You are not past child barring years. If God said it you should wait and expect for it. Rather than giving up on it you need to lean in and trust Him. Just when you think you are too far gone is just when God shows up and shows off.

I want to refresh and renew your trust

Is anything too difficult for the Lord?

Do not give up too soon!

Our society our world and our culture disrespects the one step. We look at the final picture of where we think were supposed to be but if were no there in two days then we completely throw out huge vision that God has promised us because of the frustration of not knowing the next step. The bible talks more about steps then it does about the big picture. For instance:

Psalm 37: 23 & 24

“The steps of a man are established by the Lord,
when he delights in his way;
though he falls, he shall not be cast headlong,
for the Lord upholds his hand.”

The steps will lead to the vision of what God wants you to do. Nothing is insignificant to God. Not even the tiniest minute detail. In building a house there are a million little details from laying the mortar for the bricks in the walls to the wood planks in the floor, it all adds up and comes together to one day become a home. Draw back with me from the grand vision for a second and see that steps done Gods way get us to that vision. STEPS!!! Don’t give up on that vision but realize the importance in the little steps. I know I would have loved to hear this kind of thing fifteen years ago because I’m understanding now that every step prepared me for where I am now and every step, I’m taking now is preparing me for where He is taking me.

Trust the God that has established the steps of a righteous man. It’s okay to look at the vision, it’s your motivator, but understand that the vision is going to come with steps that don’t always make sense. Submit to the lord for the first step and then the next and the next, and then you’ll look back and see how far He has brought you. Your responsibility is not in making the big picture happen, it’s in trusting Him for the next step. It’s in praying to Him and simply asking ‘God, what’s the next step?’

Society groups are a huge part of what we do here at Autumn Miles Ministries. It’s a way for our ministry to feel not so far away by being in your homes. Here at AMM, we aim to speak in bold truth and challenge others to act in raw faith. If this at all interests you, we ask you to seriously pray over being a part of our Summer Society Groups as a leader, or by joining one in your area.

Attach Your Little to God’s Much

Factor God into your “little,” don’t factor Him out of it!

I have a little bit of talent in an area, a little bit of favor in that area, and I take that little bit that God gives me and expect that He will add His much to my little. It’s amazing to see what God does with my “little!”

I feel like sometimes we get into this idea that we factor God out of the little.

John 6:9-13

9“Here is a boy with five small barley loaves and two small fish, but how far will they go among so many?”

10 Jesus said, “Have the people sit down.” There was plenty of grass in that place, and they sat down (about five thousand men were there). 11 Jesus then took the loaves, gave thanks, and distributed to those who were seated as much as they wanted. He did the same with the fish.

12 When they had all had enough to eat, he said to his disciples, “Gather the pieces that are left over. Let nothing be wasted.” 13 So they gathered them and filled twelve baskets with the pieces of the five barley loaves left over by those who had eaten.

The little boy only had five loaves and two fish, but he factored God’s much into his little and it fed over 5,000 people.

Maybe you do have a little. Maybe you have little finances, little talents, or little hope. You have a little “Yes.” I want you to factor God into your little, because when you couple your “little” with His “much,” it achieves miracles like the boy with the five loaves and two fish.

I get really frustrated when I talk to people, especially believers, and they say, “I only have this much. I only have this amount. I only have this opportunity.” It’s almost like Satan has blinded them to see the abundance that we actually have in the Lord.

I want you to take your “little” just like that boy with the five loaves and two fish, and I want you to surrender it! Study that passage of Scripture and see how his giving God his little and attaching it to God’s “much” achieved a miracle. He didn’t hoard. He didn’t say, “It’s too little.” He said, “If you can do something with it, take it. Take my “little” and attach it to your “much;” I’ll watch what only You can do.”

God, I only have a little, but I know You have much. I am going to attach my “little” to Your “much,” and I am going to believe by faith that You are going to multiply it!

We want you to meet our beloved Director of Missions here on the Autumn Miles’ Ministries team!

Q: How did you come on the team?

A: I first was introduced to Autumn when she came and spoke in one of my women’s ministry classes at Liberty University. I witnessed her passion for Jesus and her heart for others. At the end of class, she announced that they were offering interviews for internships. To be honest, I didn’t think twice about it and went off to my next class. While I was sitting in the following class, God was tugging at my heart to go sign up for an interview and apply for this internship opportunity. I didn’t understand it and never pictured myself in ministry, but I went back and interviewed! I have had the honor and privilege of serving with this ministry for five years now and have had the privilege of witnessing God change lives.

Q: What do you hope people would see through the ministry?

A: My hope for those who come across Autumn Miles Ministries is for them to know Jesus. The best way I can put it is through my own personal experience with this ministry as God used this ministry in my life first! The team made me feel loved, welcomed me as I was and was willing/ still are pouring into me. They show me grace daily as I make mistakes and am nowhere near perfect. They have encouraged and challenged me, pushing me closer to Jesus. My prayer is that others would be able to experience what I have, which is ultimately the love of Jesus. He is the ONLY source that can provide everything we are searching for and everything that we lack. He is the one who has healed, restored and transformed my life and has used this ministry to be a part of that!

Q: What is something the Lord is teaching you now?

A: Something God has been growing me in is “waiting”. The wait is hard and sometimes the weight of the wait can feel like it is crushing me with disappointments and trials, seeing nothing change. God has been reminding me of Abraham and Sarah (Genesis 17), Noah and the Ark (Hebrews 11) and Joseph going from prison to a palace (Genesis 37). God has shown me that it is the midst of the wait that I lean into Him and find Him the most! I am learning to surrender my expectations in the “wait”, not relying on what the circumstances surrounding it look like but trusting God through it all. God reminded me that He is working more so inside of me during the “wait” than what I am waiting for! I rather have God doing a greater work inside of me during the wait than working on it.
